As Vice-President of Investment Operations for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (‘Teachers’), Dan Houle is primarily responsible to oversee the everyday operations and administration of the Investment Department and align operations to Investment and Corporate strategies. Dan has worked at Teachers’ since 1994 with most of this time leading technology professionals. In 2009, he joined Investments to work closely with Investment Department leadership to mobilize cross functional teams from all parts of the business to align and optimize people, processes and technology to the vision of the Investment Division.
In 1992, Dan Houle graduated from the School of Business at Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a post graduate diploma in Management Studies. He has since augmented his background with education in Capital Markets, Strategic Planning, Critical Thinking, Project Management, Operational Risk Management and general Management skills.
